Learning to be an effective leader and team member requires a commitment to individual learning and continual practice within teams. Simply put, if we want to see change and to learn: we must always start with ourselves.

Horses are master teachers of many of the components that are essential to effective leadership and teamwork. Their keen sensitivity, reliance on one another and ability to live in the present moment help us tap into our own natural abilities that are often overlooked and underutilized.

This is experiential learning at it’s finest as we allow you to have your own experience. As facilitators, we work with what shows up to help identify and integrate the learning into your individual and team situations. The work is pure in that we do not know what the horses will do. We do not manipulate situations to achieve a particular outcome. We invite you to bring an open mind and heart and allow the horses to work their magic on you and your team.

The learning consists of a blend of facilitated activities with the horses, individual and team processing and the application of learnings to the workplace.
Located at the Golden Gate Dairy Stables which is approximately 20 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge. 1760 Shoreline Hwy (Route 1), Muir Beach, CA 94965.
Lunch at the Pelican Inn or option for brown bag lunch or a catered lunch.
No prior horse experience is necessary. We provide training on how to be safe with horses and all interactions are by choice. Participants can get equal benefit from observing.
10% percent of proceeds are donated to Ocean Riders of Marin, a 501c non-profit. Monies will be used to further expand their pro-bono programs to under-served communities who would not otherwise have access to learning with horses.

*I collaborate with my colleague Judith Forrest for these offerings. Judith is the co-founder of Perspective2, a leadership and organization development consulting firm working with startup leaders and their teams since 2003. Judith has experienced for herself and others the power of learning with horses to develop and embody effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. She believes that experiential learning in nature is becoming increasingly essential in our tech-centric world. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Certified Equine Interaction Professional (CEIP).
